Appearance: Sorin is on the tall side, standing at 6'1 with a slender but somewhat muscular build. He has short, spikey dark brown hair and brown eyes. He typically wears a pair of baggy jeans with a red T-shirt. Around his neck he has a necklace of the yang symbol that looks to be part of a whole yin and yang necklace. He also has his hands wrapped with bandages like a boxer.
Personality: Sorin is a rather serious person and is on the quiet side. He doesn't go out of his way to make friends and is a bit on the introverted side though he can make friends easily. He is someone who is always willing to do what is right and is not afraid to speak up if he sees something he feels is wrong. Despite this Sorin can keep some of his feelings bottled up and not address issues with himself or others as he tries to deal with them himself. He also has a bit of an inferiority complex due to his lack of powers and can be envious of others who do. Sorin also has a bit of a fanboy side of him especially regarding things from Japanese games or anime and manga.
Powers: Sorin does not have any kind of powers himself.
Abilities: Sorin's physical abilities are enhanced due to the nature of being a Converger however it takes training for Sorin to take full advantage of this.
Magical Sense: Sorin has a strong ability to sense magic around him. However due to the fact he is from the Realm of Reality he is unaware of this ability and will need to learn to use it.
Weapons: Sorin's main weapon is Mukou, a kodachi sword. It has the ability to negate any magical or other super human abilities it touches. Things like fireballs are instantly negated however abilities like regeneration are greatly weakened for a short period of time. Those with magical or superhuman abilties can feel the blade which can range from a feeling or wrongness to actual sickness.
He also has another kodachi that is currently unanmed. The second sword has no special powers what so ever.
Equipment: Sorin currently has no additional equipment.
History: Sorin was born to a fairly average family. Sorin was never too close to his parents largely due to them both having to work but they did love each other. Sorin would spend his time watching TV. Watching the Power Rangers when he was young first pushed him to want to learn martial arts which he started doing by joining a mall dojo. While that only lasted a few years it did make Sorin start to work out more.
As Sorin grew up he never had more than a few close friends due to his quiet nature however the friends he did have were all loyal to each other. In high school Sorin started getting into more anime and manga as well as Japanese games. His friends joking called him a weeaboo due to it. Even with the playful ribbing Sorin would get into more niche things like Kamen Rider. It would get to the point where he would buy model swords.
However everything would change one day as Sorin was walking home, a crack appeared in the air. Before Sorin could react to the unnatural occurance, the crack expanded and soon started sucking Sorin in. Sorin tried to hang on to the crack itself but the force pulling him was too strong as he was pulled fully in, along with a piece of reality he was holding onto.
When Sorin awakened he found himself in the middle of Twilight Town with a strange sword in his hand.
