She often wears low-riding jeans with a green spaghetti-strap top, strap-on sandals, a red bandanna tied around her upper right arm and a pair of designer sunglasses. She also constantly wears a necklace with a diamond-studded cross on it, a birthday gift from her late mother. Her Magic bracers are a dark tinted leather, detailed with silver studs and flakes as well as sizable stones of turquoise on the outside sections of the bracers.
Personality: Before the Convergence, she was incredibly arrogant, often mocking those who she felt were beneath her. Any sort of criticism leveled towards her she either ignored or denied, not wanting to be seen as anything other than perfect. She also tends to browbeat those who disagree with her into submission. This has become far more prevalent ever since losing her mother, with her even doing this to her father.
However, if pushed and provoked enough, and not given a chance to respond, she will break down. She has suppressed a lot of anger and sadness due to losing her mother, and all her defenses need to break down before she can heal. And deep down, even with her little clique back home, she still feels extremely lonely.
Powers: Dance Magic - Trained by Shantae to perfect her belly dancing, Leena found that her dances allowed her to cast magic not unlike her teacher. However, while Shantae is able to transform into different creatures with her dances, Leena's dances cause various effects on others around her, ranging from blinding and stunning foes to healing and empowering her allies.
Light Blast - As a Converger, she is able to tap into minute amounts of magic. Using the Genie Bracers, she is able to use that magic to generate small blasts of energy to attack her enemies.
Abilities: Multi-Lingual - Due in part to her upbringing, she is fluent in three different languages: Spanish, English and Swedish.
Advanced Agility: Due in part to her training with Shantae, Leena has found herself far more agile and flexible, able to dodge and weave past many attacks.
Weapons: Genie Bracers - A set of bracers that she took from Risky Boots not long after her arrival, Leena found that these bracers were relics left behind by past genies which generate magic. As she has no genie lineage, she is unable to use the majority of the magic in them. Instead, she is only able to generate light blasts of magical energy to damage her foes and enhance her Dance Magic.
Equipment: Diamond Cross Necklace - One of the very few mementos Leena has from her mother, the necklace was given to her on her 13th birthday and holds a lot of sentimental value as well as wealth. Shantae was able to channel a bit of genie magic into it which provides Leena with a suitable boost in defense.
History: The daughter of an affluent Puerto Rican father and a Swedish mother, Leena often found herself travelling from her birthplace of Carolina, Puerto Rico and Los Angeles at an early age due to her father's hectic work schedule before they settled for good back in Carolina. For the most part, she had a simple, quiet life, one becoming of someone with reasonable luxury. However, that luxury made her extremely arrogant as she grew into a teen, often touting her greatness over others her age.
At the age of 15, she lost her mother due to a hurricane. With that loss, she became more secluded, preferring to remain at home and play games as a way to escape the oncoming reality that her life was going to drastically change. As such, time passed and her hostility grew, resulting in her even lashing out towards her own father. During one such confrontation, the Great Convergence occurred, tearing her away from her home.
As such, she was plunged deep into the myriad worlds, passing by many before landing in Scuttle Town in Sequin Land. There, she was taken in by the town's citizen, and was summarily made to live with the town's guardian, Shantae. Though they often butted heads at first, Shantae was able to break through Leena's defenses, seeing a young woman in need of help. As such, Shantae began to provide help, first with belly-dancing, then with fighting. With Leena also befriending Rottytops, Sky and Bolo (whom she has a small crush on) and on occasion helping Shantae fight off Risky Boots, Leena waits to find a way home.
